Welcome to Hallett Chiropractic!

At Hallett Chiropractic, we pride ourselves on treating our patients as members of our extended family. We make a point to get to know you and to have a thorough understanding of your medical history and current condition.

Your First Visit

The first time you visit us, you’ll want to allow a few hours for your appointment. We ask that you complete your new patient paperwork at home and bring it with you to your appointment to review with Dr. Hallett. The paperwork is available here on our website. Dr. Hallett also will review with you your insurance and payment information so you’ll know exactly what to expect from your care.

Dr. Hallett will begin by taking a detailed patient health history, so he can thoroughly understand your past health concerns as well as your current condition. You’ll then have a comprehensive exam, which may include X-rays. Our X-rays are taken in our office for your convenience, so there’s no need for referrals or additional appointments with other providers.

More than likely, Dr. Hallett will provide you with his preliminary report of findings to help you begin to understand what your treatment plan will entail. Together you’ll discuss his findings in more detail at your next visit, but this first conversation gives you an idea of what to expect from your care. You’ll probably wrap up your first visit with your first chiropractic adjustment.

Moving Forward With Your Care

Dr. Hallett uses your first visit to determine whether you are a good candidate for chiropractic care. If your condition can be helped by chiropractic, Dr. Hallett will decide what will work best for you based on his experience and your body’s response.

Sometimes, finding relief from pain can happen quickly, but solving the underlying problem causing the pain may take more time. This is why follow-up care and patient compliance is critical. Lifestyle changes are required to eliminate the problem and support your good health in the long term. Falling back to the old habits that got you to this point will result in the same outcome.

Finding Relief: One Patient’s Story

Dr. Hallett often remarks that it’s amazing the pain that people will tolerate and for how long before they can do something about it. One patient, in particular, illustrates this point.

A female patient came to Dr. Hallett after suffering with debilitating migraine headaches. She reported experiencing these headaches on a daily basis for more than 15 years. A single adjustment was able to start her on the path to long-term relief.

Migraines can be very tricky since their causes can be varied, but more common tension headaches respond incredibly well to chiropractic.

You don’t have to live in pain or suffer from your symptoms. Schedule your consultation with Dr. Hallett to learn more about how chiropractic can help you.
